Revived Roots Salon & Boutique in Fisher County opened on August 28, 2021. Shali Alaniz is the owner and longtime local. She grew up in Roby and knew early on that she wanted to be a Hair Stylist. Shali graduated from Roby CISD in 2010, attended college at Tarleton State University, started a family and then came back to get her Cosmetology License in Abilene. Shali and her husband purchased a building in downtown Roby in 2019 that was once Roby’s Flower Shop. They both had a vision to restore that old building and bring the community something new and fun. Shali has three daughters and wanted the luxury of being close by as her children attend school in Roby so that led her to opening Roby’s only hair salon and boutique. She loves to see familiar faces and meet new ones as she embarks on her journey to beautify Fisher County.
Revitalizing that old building was a work of heart but they did just that and in August of 2021 they opened Revived Roots Salon and Boutique. They provide services for men, women, and children such as hair cuts, styles, deep conditioning treatments, and hair coloring. They offer grooming and hair products as well. The boutique lies within that same building and offers a variety of women’s and children‘s clothing, accessories, Tyler Candle Products, Bloody Mary Mix, Dotz Pretzels, Candy Bars, Skinny Syrups and Coffee. All merchandise in the boutique is available for shipping so anyone can purchase from this small town gem of a store.
When we asked Shali for advice to offer our potential and future business owners of Fisher County she encouraged them to take the leap of faith. JUST GO FOR IT! It may be stressful at times but it’s worth it especially when your giving back to your community and providing the County a way to SHOP LOCAL.
