Kellie’s Kreations: Hidden Gem in Fisher County

fishercrestoration

Kellie’s Kreations has been in business for four years and is owned and operated by Kellie King Hills of Fisher County. Kellie’s journey all started in April of 2015 when her daughter was graduating high school and her oldest granddaughter was turning 2 years old. Kellie started to realize she was going to need a hobby for that empty nester syndrome. Her husband bought her a sewing machine for her birthday and she made her first hooded towel for her granddaughter, Laynie. Laynie had outgrown all the baby hooded towels and once she started creating she was hooked! She never had any intention of doing machine embroidery, but once she realized it was a strength of hers, she kept creating and her passion grew. Kellie was working nights at the Fisher County Hospital where her passion was ignited by her coworker and friend, Alora Weatherman. During slow periods she learned to utilize her embroidery machine. Friends, family and coworkers from all over supported her, and encouraged her by purchasing products she had made, with most being hooded towels. After a few years of this, she decided it was time to take her show on the road and participated in her first craft show in 2017 where she learned that's where her business thrived even more. These craft shows provided many opportunities for her to meet and make lifelong friends and customers. Kellie created her Facebook page in 2019 where she formalized her online platform known as, Kellie’s Kreations. This helped her business to grow even more. Kellie‘s main source of income comes from her participation in craft shows, Fisher County residents and her online business platform. Kellie ships her products all over the US.

They carry a variety of options including but not limited to the following:

hooded towels

kitchen towels towel toppers

bath aprons

heating pads

embroidered plush animals, caps, towels etc.

Kellie also does custom personalization. If she can hoop it, she can personalize it. Kellie is partnering up with Desert Rose Decor to offer digitized embroidery files as well. Kellie’s advice to new and existing businesses in Fisher County is to never give up. She understands that it's all hard work and profits don’t come easy, but she encourages residents to take the risk and just keep going. Kellie encourages them to keep their eye on the prize and in time business will come.
